If you have children, I think bringing a stroller to Disney World is essential.
The parks and resorts are huge and can pose a big problem for parents. I’m guessing you don’t want to hold your child all day or have them complaining and exhausted from all the walking!
I know our family ALWAYS rents a stroller when we go to Disney World because we don’t own one that is big enough and durable enough to handle a day at the parks. Seriously, even as our kids get older, we still rent a stroller to help rest their legs and get them out of the sun.
Below, you will learn about 7 different places where you can RENT strollers for a Disney World vacation.
Here is a quick summary of the BEST stroller companies, depending on your situation:
- Best Overall: Kingdom Strollers – A great combination of pick-up and delivery options, customer service, stroller options, and price.
- Cheapest: Buena Vista Strollers – The least expensive stroller rental depends on what type of stroller you want and how long you need it for. It was close between Buena Vista and Kingdom Strollers for the BEST prices.
- Best for Single Day rentals: Disney World – Rent your stroller directly from Disney at the front of the theme park.
#1. Kingdom Strollers
Kingdom Stroller is a family-owned business that offers MANY options for stroller delivery. They are definitely one of the most popular and best stroller rental companies that operate within Disney World. You can even pick up and drop off the stroller directly at the Orlando International Airport (MCO)!
Pick-up and Delivery Options:

- Disney Resort Hotels: Disney resorts require that you meet FACE-TO-FACE with your driver for stoller pick-ups, deliveries, and returns. During your reservation, you will choose a time to meet with your driver for delivery and pick-up.
- Non-Disney Resort: Your stroller will be delivered to the front desk, which you can pick up at your convenience after you check into your room.

Kingdom Strollers has single, double, and specialty strollers for special needs children available. Pricing varies based on the type of stroller chosen and the number of nights rented.

Kingdom Strollers provides extensive information about its strollers on its website.
- The most popular model for a single stroller is the City Mini Single.
- The City Mini Double is the most popular double stroller, which is the model we typically rent since we have two kids.
Kingdom Strollers also has a single stroller available for kids with special needs, good for children up to 5 feet tall and/or 100 lbs.
Lastly, all stroller rentals include a free drink holder, rain cover, and cooler bag. Snack trays and stroller hooks are available for certain stroller models for an additional fee.

If you book your stroller using this link, you will receive a FREE accessory courtesy of Resort Rat.
#3. ScooterBug
ScooterBug is the official featured provider of strollers for Walt Disney Resort. Being given this distinction gives ScooterBug one HUGE advantage over the competition.
If you stay at a Disney World Resort, ScooterBug is the ONLY stroller rental company you do not have to physically meet at delivery or pick up.
The company will deliver the stroller directly to the front desk of your resort, and you can pick it up at your convenience. Then, at the end of your trip, you just drop it back off at the front desk. 🙂
In addition to Disney World resorts, Scooterbug also delivers strollers to the front desk of over 300 other hotels around Orlando.
Stroller Types & Pricing:
ScooterBug offers single, double, and adaptive-needs strollers. Pricing varies based on the type of stroller chosen and how long you rent the stroller.
The dimensions, maximum weight, and maximum height information are not available on their website; however, many of the strollers available are similar to Kingdom Strollers, including the City Mini and City Mini Double.
Additional options are available for a fee, including a snack tray, rain cover, bag hook, and damage waiver.
#4. Orlando Stroller Rentals
Orlando Stroller Rentals was founded by Shannon Tanner, a mom who wanted to provide families going to Disney World with clean, safe, and affordable strollers.
Pick-up and Delivery Options:
- Airport: Delivery and pick up are available at Luggage Hold, Terminal B, Level 1, near Mears Transportation. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. daily.
- In-Person: Orlando Stroller Rentals has a physical location with a 24-hour stroller rack for easy late-night pick-up.
- Disney World Resort: You must meet your driver at the resort’s lobby, starting as early as 7 a.m.
- Non–Disney Resorts: Strollers will be delivered to Bell Services to be picked up at your convenience.
Stroller Types & Pricing:
Orlando Stroller Rentals offers both single and double strollers. Pricing varies based on the type of stroller chosen and your desired number of days. Single strollers averaged $55 to $65 for 3 nights/4 days, while doubles averaged $75 to $80 for the same period.
All strollers come with a FREE rain cover, cooler, and parent console.
Orlando Stroller Rentals offers a few discounts that I did not see elsewhere:
- $5 credit for military, police, and fire personnel per stroller rented.
- They also offer a multi-stroller discount.
#5. Magic Strollers
Pick-up and Delivery Options:
- Disney Resorts: They do not deliver directly to any Disney World resort. You must pick it up from their warehouse.
- Non-Disney Resorts: Magic Strollers delivers to over 200 resorts in the Orlando area. View this link to see if where you are staying is on the list.
- Magic Strollers does not offer private home or airport pick-up/delivery options and cannot deliver directly to the theme parks.
I’m sure you noticed that Magic Strollers does not deliver to any Disney resort, so I’m sure you are asking why they are included on this list. 🙂
Well, for budget-conscious travelers, Magic Strollers offers the BEST rates on stroller rentals for trips to Disney World.
Since you must pick up the stroller directly from their warehouse, they give you a HUGE discount (25%).
The address is 7331 Presidents Drive, Orlando, FL 32809, and is located between the Orlando Airport and Disney World. As stated on their website, “Instead of paying Disney to be a Featured Provider, we are sharing those cost savings with our customers.”
#6. Rent a stroller directly from Disney
You can also rent strollers right inside the Disney World theme parks and Disney Springs. This offers a convenient option for those who might need a stroller for a single day for those just-in-case moments. You can find the stroller rental area near the entrance of any of the parks.
Below is where you can rent strollers at Magic Kingdom.
However, unlike other rentals, you cannot take your stroller outside the theme park. If you visit more than one park or Disney Springs in a day, they give you a receipt that you can show to get another stroller.
If you need a stroller to take back to your resort and other areas outside the parks, renting a stroller from one of the companies above is the best route.
Stroller Types Available & Pricing:
Single and double strollers can be rented from Disney World. A single stroller is $15 daily or $13 per day if you rent longer than one day. A double stroller is rentable for $31 daily or $27 per day if you rent longer than one day.
Regarding pricing, if you need a stroller for more than one day, renting a stroller directly from Disney is by far the MOST expensive option. You also can’t take them back to your resort, which is incredibly inconvenient if your kids are sleeping in the stroller at the end of a long day. 🙂
Lastly, the strollers that Disney World gives you are basic compared to those available from rental companies. They do not have cushions, are primarily plastic, and are restrictive in their size. Accessories are not included, so you will likely carry more yourself than the feature-heavy strollers from private companies.
I would only rent a stroller directly from Disney World if I was going to visit the parks for ONE day and needed a convenient option.
#7. Bring Your Own Stroller!
Of course, you can always bring or purchase a stroller for your trip. This can save money, especially if you plan on using your stroller outside of your vacation. Plus, you can choose a stroller that fits you and your child’s needs best.
When choosing a stroller, you will want to pay attention to Disney World’s guidelines about stroller sizes. Strollers must be no more than 31” wide and 52” long. Wagons and stroller wagons are not permitted!
Even though there is added convenience in bringing your own stroller, there are also setbacks. Airports and planes are often hard to navigate with a stroller, and you will likely need to check your stroller when boarding.
Personally, our family has ZERO interest in trying to take a large double stroller on a plane!
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I bring my own stroller to Disney World instead of renting one?
Yes! Many families choose to bring their own stroller to the theme parks. Just make sure to pay attention to Disney World’s guidelines about stroller sizes. Strollers must be no more than 31” wide and 52” long. Wagons and stroller wagons are not permitted!
How far in advance should I reserve a stroller before our Disney World trip?
You should reserve your stroller as soon as possible, especially if you visit during a busy time of year at Disney, such as Spring Break or around Christmas. Most companies offer full refunds if canceled more than 48 hours before arrival, so it doesn’t hurt to guarantee you have access to a stroller.
What Disney World stroller rental is the cheapest?
The answer to this question varies depending on your unique situation. Your final price is determined by the type of stroller you rent and how long you need the stroller. Check out the recommended companies above to see which option fits your needs best. However, based on my research, Kingdom Strollers and Buena Vista Rentals had the best prices.
What is the BEST stroller model to rent at Disney World?
To determine which type of stroller is best for you, please consider the following features. Once you decide what you need, you can choose the appropriate model.
- Carrying capacity, which is how much weight the stroller holds.
- How old are your kids? Certain models are better for infants versus older children.
- Do you need a single or double stroller?
- Consider any other accessories you want to add.
With that being said, the two most popular strollers at Disney seem to be the City Mini Single and the City Mini Double.
Can I cancel the stroller reservation if my plans to Disney World change?
Most companies offer a FULL refund if the cancellation is made 48 hours before arrival. Before booking your stroller, verify each company’s specific policy before making a reservation.
How does each Disney World stroller rental company sanitize and clean each stroller between rentals?
Nobody wants crumbs and germs from the previous family! If you have specific concerns, then I would contact the company directly with their cleaning process. We rent from Kingdom Strollers when we visit Disney World, and the strollers have always been incredibly clean.
