3 Pools (& 6 Hot Tubs) on Enchantment of the Seas (25 pics)

Royal Caribbean ยป 3 Pools (& 6 Hot Tubs) on Enchantment of the Seas (25 pics)

What are the pools like on Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas?

Our family recently had the pleasure of taking a week-long cruise aboard the Enchantment of the Seas. My kids had an awesome time swimming and playing in the pools. And we all had fun enjoying the hot tubs. ๐Ÿ™‚

Below, I am providing a photo tour of what the pools and surrounding areas on the ship look like so you know what to expect. Even though the ship is considered small by cruise ship standards, it still has THREE pools and SIX hot tubs.

If you have any additional questions, please ask in the Comments section at the bottom. I promise I will respond.

Enchantment of the Seas – Pools and Hot Tubs

Pool #1: Outside on Deck #9

You can find this pool outside on the main pool deck.

There are actually two pools located on the pool deck, and they are directly next to each other.

For the sake of this post, the first pool I’m describing is the one that is towards the bow (front) of the ship. You can read about the other pool in the next section (Pool #2).

When we sailed on the Enchantment, this pool was full of salt water.

While the pool is 5.5 feet (1.7 m) deep, there is a lot of shallow area for people to sit. I saw lots of adults hanging out here, reading or talking. Many kids also enjoyed laying in this shallow water.

This pool was located next to a kid’s splash area. In the middle, water sprays out of a fountain in all directions. I saw many young children playing safely here.

Pool #2: Outside on Deck #9

This second pool is directly next to the first one, located outside Deck #9. This pool was located towards the back of the boat compared to Pool #1.

I’m pretty sure both pools are identical in depth and dimensions.

The biggest difference was this pool was full of FRESH WATER. My kids preferred this pool because of this fact, as they didn’t like getting salt water in their mouths.

There is a stage overlooking this pool. During the days we were sailing at sea, you could find a Caribbean-themed band playing here.

There were lots of loungers surrounding the pool deck. Luckily, Royal Caribbean is strict about not letting people put towels on chairs to save them all day, so we never had a problem finding seating.

The pink signs on the chairs below warn not to save seats!

There were additional lounge chairs above the main pool deck on Deck #10.

Pool #3: The Solarium

The final Enchantment of the Seas pool is also located on Deck #9. If you keep heading towards the ship’s rear, you will walk into the Solarium.

The Solarium Pool is an indoor pool, but the roof is made of glass, so it’s very bright and almost feels like you are outside.

One important thing to note about this pool is that it’s reserved for adults. As you walk through the doors, there is a sign that says only guests who are 18+ can enjoy.

As you can imagine, it was very quiet inside the Solarium. There were lots of adults reading and other groups playing cards. Our kids were 9 and 6 when we took this cruise, so we didn’t spend much time here. ๐Ÿ™‚

In addition to lounge chairs surrounding the pool, many tables were available.

Due to the fact no kids are allowed, the Solarium pool was always less crowded than the two outdoor pools.

hot tubs on the enchantment of the seas

There are a total of SIX hot tubs.

Where are the hot tubs located on the Enchantment of the Seas?

All of the hot tubs are located on Deck #9, just like the pools. In fact, if you are near any of the pools, you will be near the hot tubs.

The first four hot tubs can be found outside on the main pool deck. They are located adjacent to the two outdoor pools.

You can see each of the four hot tubs below. Each one has a shaded canopy.

Because the hot tubs are so close to the pools, we found ourselves switching back and forth often.

The final two hot tubs are in the Solarium. They are located on either side of the Solarium pool.

Please note that this area is for adults over the age of 18. If you don’t want to deal with kids in the hot tub, then make sure to head here.

    • Hello Chris. I’m sorry, I don’t recall when they pools opened and closed each day. I want to say it changed depending on the day’s schedule, such as were we at sea or at a port. Next cruise, I will try to pay attention to this detail! ๐Ÿ™‚
