Searching for Hidden Mickeys is a fun FREE activity you can do at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Whenever we stay on Disney property, we always make sure to go on a quest for hidden Mickeys. It’s a great, low-budget activity that you can do at your own pace. It can also be a convenient way to pass the time before dining reservations or on days you are not visiting the theme parks.
Wilderness Lodge has at least 30 hidden Mickeys for you to find.
Wilderness Lodge is a fantastic place to search for hidden Mickeys. Begin at the front desk, where you can pick up a scavenger hunt sheet that provides hints about where to find some of the hidden Mickeys. When we visited, there were two separate scavenger hunts for this resort: one for the main Wilderness Lodge area and one for the Boulder Ridge Villas area.
It is also possible to claim a cool little prize once you complete the scavenger hunt. Just make sure to check with the front desk before getting started.
30 Hidden Mickeys at Wilderness Lodge:
We have been able to verify most of the Hidden Mickeys at Wilderness Lodge. If there is no picture below, we have heard about this Hidden Mickey but have not seen it yet. If you find one of these missing Mickey’s, please let us know or share a picture! 🙂
Hidden Mickey #1
After arriving in Wilderness Lodge’s main lobby, locate the Walt Disney World Transportation sign to find this hidden Mickey. Look at the bus on the sign, and you’ll see the hidden Mickey in the driver’s seat next to the letter “W.”
Hidden Mickey #2
You will find this hidden Mickey in the main lobby by the front desk. If you look behind the desk, there is a set of keys on the back wall. On that set of keys, you’ll see a classic Mickey head.
Hidden Mickey #3
Head over to the main lobby’s 82-foot-tall fireplace to find this hidden Mickey. If you look closely at the rocks by the second floor’s wooden beams, and you will see a hidden Mickey etched into the rock.

For this next hidden Mickey, head past the elevators in the main lobby. On the hallway to the right, approximately ten feet before Room 1507, look at the baseboard near the carpet, and you’ll see a hidden Mickey.

The next hidden Mickey can be found on the wall by the entrance of Roaring Fork. Locate the shadow box fishing and tackle gear, and you’ll find three chestnuts that represent this hidden Mickey.
If you get hungry or thirsty while you are in this area of Wilderness Lodge, Roaring Fork is a great quick-service restaurant to dine at.

Hidden Mickey #6
You will find this hidden Mickey at Artist Point, a Disney character dining experience at Wilderness Lodge. Look up to the ceiling’s Western-style mural. Over on the left shoulder of a Native American in the mural, you’ll find a hidden Mickey.

While in Artist Point, you can find another hidden Mickey on another mural. On the wall heading toward the small dining room, you’ll find the hidden Mickey in the mural’s tree line.

The next hidden Mickey can be found within the hallways of Wilderness Lodge. Look at the light covers to see hidden Mickeys drawn among the rocks in the design.

While in the hallways, you can find our next hidden Mickey on the floor planks and columns. Check for subtle dark stains on the wood to see the iconic mouse shape.

From the hallways, you can also find hidden Mickeys on the carpets. The Mickeys are blue and blend in well with the carpet pattern.

You will find this hidden Mickey in the hallways as well, though you’ll want to look up for this one! The hidden Mickey is part of the decorative framework located near the ceiling. Look to the corner of either side to see the classic mouse outlined in black.

Venture out to the Teton Boat & Bike Rentals complex near the back of the resort to find the next hidden Mickey. On the far right corner of the main building, look up high, and you’ll see a hidden Mickey etched into the wooden beam.

Head over by Fire Rock Geyser near the Copper Creek Springs Pool to find the next hidden Mickey. Look at the water moving downstream, and you’ll see a hidden Mickey in the rocks located in the shallow stream.

You will find this hidden Mickey over at the kid’s splash area by the Copper Creek Springs Pool. Underneath a small water slide, there is a collection of logs, with the ends of three logs forming a hidden Mickey.

To find this hidden Mickey, head over to the Whispering Canyon Café. Locate the fireplace in the rear room, and you’ll see a hidden Mickey in the grillwork along the bottom row.

All the way out by the security kiosk, which looks like a small log cabin, is where our next hidden Mickey is located. You’ll see the mouse shape etched into the column closest to the security door.

Head over to the Territory Lounge’s lounge area to find the next hidden Mickey. Locate the map by the entrance to the lounge. On the map, you’ll see the hidden Mickey drawn into a piece of pottery featured on the map.
If you get hungry or thirsty while you are in this area of Wilderness Lodge, the Territory Lounge is a relaxing spot to visit for snacks and drinks.

You will find this hidden Mickey on the ceiling of the Territory Lounge. Look at the mural and locate a group of horses. On the caramel-colored horse’s backside, you’ll see our last found hidden Mickey.

You will find this hidden Mickey outside by the main entrance of Wilderness Lodge. Look for a sign on a wooden post that says, “Bear Crossing.” On top of the sign, you’ll see a silhouette of our first hidden Mickey, carrying a stick with a collection of clothes hanging off the end.

While walking toward the parking lot from the main entrance, keep your eyes open for this hidden Mickey. The mouse’s outline can be found etched into a piece of black pavement closest to the steps by the parking lot.

While you are near the parking lot, head over to the entrance of Wilderness Lodge to find this hidden Mickey. Look at one of the support beams on the left-hand side as you approach the resort. Above a black metal band that wraps around the support beam, you’ll see a partially obstructed hidden Mickey, with only his ears and the top of his head visible.
The next Hidden Mickeys are all found at the Boulder Ridge Villas.

While in the Boulder Ridge Villas lobby, look for a map on display titled “Scenic Line of the West” to find this hidden Mickey. On different locations within the map, you’ll actually find several drawings of Mickey.

You will find this hidden Mickey in a small room just to the right of the Boulder Ridge Villas lobby. Look for a painting of a field of flowers. In the painting, there is a hidden Mickey found in the river’s rocks and another one to be found on the open field, also made of out rocks. There is also a hidden Mickey in the painting’s frame, found in the bottom right corner.

Locate a small room just to the right of the Boulder Ridge Villas lobby with a fireplace and some gaming tables to find this hidden Mickey. On the left side of the fireplace’s hearth, you’ll find a hidden Mickey etched into the stonework.

Back in the Boulder Ridge Villas lobby, this hidden Mickey can be found on the last stone pillar. On the side facing the main entrance, about three feet off the ground, you’ll find a hidden Mickey etched into the pillar’s stone.

You will find this hidden Mickey on either side of the Boulder Ridge Villas lobby’s first-floor elevators. Take a look at the wooden panels, and you’ll find a hidden Mickey on the right near a framed portrait. There is another to be found behind the canvas banner hanging from the wall.

Head over to the Boulder Ridge Villas lobby’s atrium to find this next hidden Mickey. Look up to the crossbeam to the right of the fireplace, and you’ll see a three-dimensional hidden Mickey peeking out from a knot in the beam.

Check out the hearth of the same fireplace to find another hidden Mickey. Spot the cast iron turtle and look at its shell to see where three etched swirls form a hidden Mickey.

You will find this hidden Mickey directly above the fireplace. Mickey’s profile is around four small red designs, about 12 feet off the ground.

Over by the covered walkway near the Boulder Ridge Villas area you can find the next hidden Mickey. Look for a sign that says, “Caution Bike Crossing” on a wooden beam, and you’ll see Mickey right above it.
